Officer Peter Betchley & First Stryk's Zen of the Buddha (Bodie) were awarded the United Doberman Club Service Dog of the Year award at the 2012 UDC Nationals for their service. Bodie is a certified law enforcement canine. We are VERY proud of both of them! Thank you for the work you both do!

Lexie, Luca and Mags all participated in an Urban Search & Rescue training with renowned FEMA SAR trainer/handler, Lynne Engelbert on June 11-12, 2011. The entire family did fabulous and we are very proud of them all!

Styx, Gabriel and Lexie were deployed as part of the response to the Joplin, MO tornado which killed 154 people on May 22, 2011. Momma Styx and her kids did a fabulous job; searching some of the ruble of the thousands of buildings effected as trained. Nice job Styx, Gabe and Lexie! We are very proud of the entire family!

Mags (Rebholzer The Grateful Dead) joined our family on May 3, 2011. We have high hopes that Mags will join the ranks of our other Search & Rescue dogs in the very near future. However, in the meantime, keep an eye out for her in the AKC conformation ring!

Orinoco received his ZTP-1A rating from the DV on May 1, 2011 at the United Doberman Club Nationals show in Durham, NC. We're very proud of Orinoco and his co-owner/handler Jess Brizendine. Nice job boys!

Bodie is currently completing training as a Narcotics Detection Patrol Canine with the LeCompte Police Department; making him the department's only Doberman officer. Bodie is also shown in conformation. Congratulations Bodie and his owner/trainer/handler Peter for such a great job!

Lexie passed her National Police Working Dog Association Human Remains Detection Canine examination on April 10, 2011. Congrats to Lexie and her owner/trainer/handler Irene for a job well done!

Luca passed his 30-Acre Human Remains Detection Canine examination on March 24, 2011. Congratulations go out to Luca and his owner/trainer/handler Carrie for the obvious hard work!

Orinoco became a daddy on February 11, 2011 for the first time! An all black litter comprised of 3 boys and 4 girls with Mommy Porsche from Masaya Dobermans. Congrats to the whole family!

Gabriel was deployed on his first official human remains search on November 13, 2010 on a 2-year-old cold case. Gabe did a fantastic job alerting local sheriff's deputies to areas where residual scent was present. Way to go Gabe and owner/trainer/handler Maria for such an amazing job!




Orinoco earned Best of Opposite Sex and his THIRD Best of Breed at the Lincoln, NE shows on October 22 and 24, 2010. We're very proud of Orinoco! Now on to the majors!

Styx, Lexie, Luca and Gabe all participated in an Urban Search & Rescue training with renowned SAR trainer, Shirley Hammond on September 24, 2010. Momma and puppies did fabulous and we are very proud of you all!

Gabriel passed his Human Remains Detection Canine examination on July 8, 2010. Gabe is now "mission-ready!" Congratulations go out to Gabriel and his owner/trainer/handler for the obvious hard work!

Styx was deployed to a building collapse with one confirmed fatality to search the ruble for any additional human remains by the local fire department this past week. She did a fabulous job; searching the ruble of the building as trained. Way to go Styx!

Orinoco took Reserve Winners dog on May 22, 2010 at the Sunflower Kennel Club show in Gardner, KS. We're very proud of Orinoco and co-owner/handler Jess Brizendine. Nice job boys!

Bodie was awarded Reserve Winners dog in the AKC conformation ring the first weekend of February. Congratulations goes out to Bodie and his owner/handler for such an excellent placement on his first foray into the AKC conformation world - We're very proud!

Bodie earned multiple Best of Breed wins at the three day UKC Shows in Mississippi as well as a Group 1, Group 2 and Reserve Best in Show placement! A huge congratulations goes out to Bodie and his owner/handler for these exceptional wins!

Orinoco another earned 1 Point towards his AKC Championship on October 10, 2009 at the Lawrence Jayhawk Kennel Club show under Judge Dr. Alvin Krause. Orinoco was awarded Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex all breeder/owner handled!

Bodie earned his International Championship and took multiple Best of Breed wins - all four days of the International All Breed Canine Association Shows in Oklahoma City as well as a Group 2 Placement on October 5, 2009! A huge congratulations goes out to Bodie's owner/handler and family for their hard work - We're very proud of you all!

Orinoco earned 1 Point towards his AKC Championship on October 4, 2009 at the Cornhusker Kennel Club show under Judge Judith Goodin, where he took Winners Dog. We're very proud of Orinoco and handler Francisco Sanguino!

Orinoco took Reserve Winners dog on October 3, 2009 at the Cornhusker Kennel Club show in Lincoln, NE. We're very proud of Orinoco and handler Francisco Sanguino. Excellent!

Taz passed his Canine Good Citizen examination on September 19, 2009. Congratulations to Taz and his family for all their hard work!

Orinoco earned another 2 Points towards his AKC Championship on September 11, 2009 at the Missouri Rhineland Kennel Club show under Judge Mildred Bryant, where he took Winners Dog, Best of Winners and his SECOND ever Best of Breed! The icing on the cake was going BOB over Specials! We're very proud of Orinoco and his handler Jana Dupre - Way to go team!

Gabriel passed his Human Remains Level III examination. Congratulations Gabriel and family/handler for a job well done!

Orinoco earned his 4th Point towards his AKC Championship under Judge Madeline K. Miller at the Nebraska Kennel Club show in Omaha on July 11, 2009. He took Winners Dog from the Open Class. Great job Orinoco and handler Jana Dupre!

Orinoco earned his 2nd AND 3rd Points towards his AKC Championship with back-to-back wins under Judges Mildred Bryant and John Studebaker at the Moberly Kennel Club shows on June 6-7, 2009. He took Winners Dog and Best of Winners from the Open Class each day. Way to Go O and handlers Jana Dupre and Jess Brizendine!

Orinoco placed second in his class again at the United Doberman Club Nationals on April 30, 2009 under Breeder-Judge Doug Matson and earning his second CC towards his UDC Championship title. Good job Orinoco!

Gibson was taken through the Working Apptitude Evaluation by a family relative, also at the 2009 United Doberman Club Nationals. Evaluator Julie Stade said in her critique that Gibson passed all areas save one and that had he been handled by an immediate family member, she had every confidence that he would have recieved his W.A.C. Even though Gibson did not pass; we are STILL very proud of this loving family pet!

Luca also passed his Working Apptitude Evaluation on the first try at the 2009 United Doberman Club Nationals, thus earning his W.A.C., also under Evaluator Julie Stade. Congratulations to Luca and his owner/handler - Way to go!

Bodie earned his UKC Championship this past weekend, April 25-26, 2009! A HUGE congratulations goes out to Bodie's owner/handler!

Styx had her very first confirmed human remains find, since her certification, on a search call-out by the local fire department this past week. She did an excellent job; performing her indication as trained. Great job Styx!

Bodie took Best of Breed all three days during his first weekend out at the UKC Shows in Louisiana recently as well as taking Fourth Place in the Working Group one day! A huge congratulations goes out to Bodie's owner/handler and family for their hard work!

Gabriel passed his Human Remains Level II examination recently. Congratulations Gabriel and family/handler on a job well-done!

Orinoco took Reserve Winners dog on January 31, 2009 at the St. Joseph Kennel Club show against some stiff competition. We're very proud of Orinoco and his handler, Jana Dupre. Way to go!

Lexie ran a .5 mile long, 26 hour-old training trail on December 14, 2008. What made this so remarkable - for any dog - was that the wind had been very high since the day before and while she worked the trail! When she worked it, the wind was 24 mph! Lexie never needed any help except when she got tangled in the high brush and brambles section when the snap-on the lead failed. Feeling that she was free, she took a few victory laps around the woods and then returned to finish the trail easily, jumping up and down on the subject hidden beneath a tarp on the ground! Way to Go Lexie and Owner/Handler!

Orinoco is now an International Champion! He earned the conformation title at the Autumn Sieger Show held at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, Missouri this November. Great job Orinoco!

Gabriel also passed his Working Apptitude Evaluation on the first try at the 2008 Doberman Pinscher Club of America Nationals, thus earning his W.A.C., with high marks and no prior training, also under Evaluator Ray Carlisle. Congratulations to Gabe and his owner/handler - Way to go!

Orinoco, did a marvelous job at the October 12, 2008 Doberman Pinscher Club of America Nationals in Topeka, Kansas, of passing his Working Apptitude Evaluation with high marks and earning his W.A.C. on his first try with no prior training under Evaluator Ray Carlisle - Congratulations Orinoco! Gabriel has passed his Human Remains Building Search Level I Examination in July with flying colors so Congratulations are in order to Gabe and his handler for this excellent accomplishment!

Chaos also recently passed her Canine Good Citizenship test and is currently pursuing her passion for agility with her family. Congratulations Chaos and family for all your hard work!

Orinoco earned his 1st Point towards his AKC Championship title in conformation on January 20, 2008 at the Central Iowa Kennel Club under Judge Mrs. Sulie Greendale-Paveza, where he took Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best Puppy and BEST OF BREED from the 9-12 puppy class his first weekend out!

Styx passed her Level I search and rescue certification in Human Remains Detection through Vom Kaiserhofe Training Centers under Tom Brenneman on December 15, 2008 after 8 weeks off and very little refresher training. She is now a certified SAR dog!
